Morocco cuts off relations with Iran !!

I do not understand why Morocco would cut off the relations with Iran in this particular time after the official Iranian apology to Bahrain !!??
If Morocco cares that much about the dignity and sovereignty of Bahrain , then won’t  it better if it cuts off the relations with Spain because Ceuta and Melilla in the same way !!??
Updated:
Morocco officially explained why it had to cut off the relations with Iran because the later was trying to spread  Shiitism in the country !!!
I wonder if Morocco has cut off the relations with the countries that send Christian missionaries !!??
With my all respect to the Moroccan people and Morocco ,if the Moroccan regime is so keen to protect Islam why it does not fight the gay festivals held annually in one of the shrines there !!?? why it does not fight the witchcraft and sorcery !!?? Why it does not fight the human trafficking with all its kinds ?
It is a strange decision for sure and I feel this justification was announced after they found out in Morocco that the early justification was not enough.

  2. if you are not cultic guys you will understand that Iran represent more danger than Israel, if Iran is Muslim this never mean it's a friend and if Israel Jewish this never mean it's an enemy

  3. I totally agree with bastawisi!
I wished Egypt done the same ages ago with KSA before the invasion of wahabïs movement! Ma kansh da b2a 7alna

But what do gay festivals, witchcraft and sorcery have 2 do with Islam?! Why we always correlate things like that?!
Egypt already has gay mawled, hammams, streets, pubs and private parties!
U should be happy that human and gay rights situation there is MUCH better than any arabic country(except 4 Lebanese gay rights)!

(sorry if i sound harsh lol excuse my half Moroccan blood!)

  4. Ice Queer>>>

Actually Muhammed Ali Basha and his son Ibrahim Basha both successfully fought the early wahabi/saud uprising in the nejd and the hegaz. It was not until the arabs (and the young turks) were aided by the brittish that they succeeded to rise to power.

  5. Facts about Iran:
    1) During the Shah's time; it was the first country to recognize Israel
    2) During Khomeini's time; It was receiving arms from Israel via the CIA (Iran-Contra !!)
    3) During Ahmadinjihad (present) Iran acts like an enemy who wishes to Nuke Israel. No one asks them how their Nuke Weapon will miss palestinians, Jordanian, or Syrian?

Iran is a big act in the ME and the CIA is the producer/director

  6. @Bastawisi Salafis are the ones who identify Iran religiously as Shiite rival, but supporters of Iran usually don't consider its religious aspect at all.

I can't see that Iran is more dangerous than Israel! Israel's Security Strategy and their long-arm inherently include Egypt. The conflict in interest between Egypt & Iran has no real basis. The Shiite Crescent hypothesis is not profound, and even if- it wouldn't hurt Egypt.

@Ice Queer I do agree that we should do it wish KSA coz of wahabi tide.

I don't see a Shiite tide or missionaries in Egypt. Plus, you can make deals with Persian people, but you can't make deals with Bedouin people.

@Anonymous regarding Iran-Contra: via CIA???? what??? I can't imagine how easy for people to manipulate facts and rephrase words for their favor. We really don't appreciate truth at all.

Iran "payed" for weapons, and US "shipped" the weapons via Israel. That was not only under Khomeini, it was "also" during Iraq-Iran war. They have to buy weapons!

Iran is act by CIA? What is that? Do you work for Fox-News :) Nijad comments about wiping Israel, not nuking- they never mentioned nuking, these comments are kinda propaganda war. Propaganda should not trick those who this book about propaganda. If your language is Arabic, it is available under Kuwaiti Alam-Ma'arefa as: "Qasf Al-'Oqul".

  7. @Mido, well officially he has no relations with the Israeli, but unofficially he has relations that won't be cut so easily

@Bastawisi , I won't enough waste your time and mine , I know what you think but believe me here I am not speaking about religious backgrounds , to your surprise I do not have anything against Jews , I have something against Zionism, there is difference between them of course you know about it , I hope

@Ice Queer , agree on what and what bring Saudi Arabia and Wahbism to our discussion here ,I am speaking about certain news
I think Islam is quite frank regarding homosexuality and witchcraft , already having mulads and hammams, streets and pubs in Egypt does not mean it is approved , you know and I know that the Egyptian society does not approve homosexuality , call the Egyptian society what ever you want but this is how it will be
By the way my great grand father is Moroccan

@ Abu Hamza, it is true

@anonymous, regarding your facts about Iran
    1) at the time of the shah there were Arab countries that enjoyed undeclared relations with Israel like for instance Jordan and Morocco
2)Ashraf Marwan was involved in the Iran Contra too , they considered him as a hero !!!

3)They did not say that they would use their nuke against Israel
If Iran was a big CIA product ,why the Arab countries are following America then

@Mustafa, I agree with most what you said

  8. Re; Simple questions Mustapha&Zeinobia's replies;
    1) The US during Khomeini, officially has(and still is) no political relation with Iran, then why would they sell arms to Iran (Iran-Contra) via Israel? Would they do that for N. Korea? Cuba?..etc.
    2) Iran would like to build Nuclear Weapon but not use it against Israel (who they declared desrves to be wipped out, then against whomt those weapons are bein sought? Just for fun I guess?
    3) If US sells Weapons to the "enemy" Iran, the CIA is not involved mmmmh ,I am paranoid ?maybe?

  9. 1. That's why it is called an affair & it was a scandal for Regan's admin. My point was to correct your wrong account. You gave wrong accounts on some historic events and tampered with facts.

    2. No one will ever use nuke weapons by the way! That's typical fallacy propaganda promoted by US convervative shits. You remind me with Ann Coulter (Google it!). Iran can't use it coz they know Israel has 200+ bombs, and all of us know that Iran can't make more than 10 by any means. So, even if Iran decided to throw 'em on Israel, Israeli advanced warning systems will detect them the reply back with "true" wiping of Persia. But that's the insane! Aftermath of radiations with end "humanity".

So what is the deal? I will tell you: Nuke weapons are the most secure way to defend yourself in post-Nagazaki world. If you have the bomb, no one will attack you! And that what bother US & Oil companies too much. If Iran is attack-proof it will be a big pain in the ass for US, Israel, and whoever else interested in middle east without "no-guys". They only need "yes-guys".

That's a typical game between the strong & the weak over resources. The fact that we make a big deal about religious or ethics aspects of the conflicts make me sick.

    3. It is useless for me to ponder or to discuss, the Walsh report and the Iran-Contra hearings are available notoriously online. The fact that we were raised in Arab world where facts over time become lies instead of history, doesn't appeal to US government where they document everything for their next generations.

I am sorry it is long. With no hard feeling, no-offense to any of you guys.

    Best Regards,
    Mustafa

  10. @ Mido, King of stupids? That's as high as you can get? Calling an entire nations stupid is not doing you and your likes any good!

@ Everyone else, yeah, gays are human too! Let them be. And as Moroccans, we do not discriminate between our Muslim and Jewish brothers. Our history goes way back! If every Arab country had handled the Nazi demands the way we did, there would be no Israel. Our king then in his Wisdom said he did not have Jews, only Moroccans in his country. Instead of exporting all of them, we would have still been leading a great life in homogeneous countries both in North Africa and the Middle East.
As to Iran's attempt to spread Shiaa' in Morocco, it is prevalent. At least we don't want them to spread zawaj al Mut'a, which you guys call Zawaj 3orfi. We're fine the way we are. No need to give fake names and go under false pretenses to cover up for our actions. At least we're honest and call things by their names.

    ReplyDelete
  11. @Moroccan Anonymous, can you please stop this traditional Arabic way of defending your country by attacking other countries
Yes my dear we have Zawaj 3orfi but it is different Zawah Al Mut'a ,clearly you do not know the difference between the two types
We do not hide fact nor we certainty call things by their names.

  12. Zeinobia; your reply to @ Moroccan Anon. includes :
"We do not hide fact nor we certainty call things by their names"
Don't you think this statement support Morroccan's argument? If you don't call things by their name it is like "hiding" is in it?

  13. Wait! So, I'm attacking Arabic countries? Huh!! I was under the impression I was just stating facts! You guys do have zawaj 3orfi, the same way most people who adhere to shia take zawaj al mut3a for granted. I am not making anything up. The only "so-called attack" was more in light of Mido's calling a nation stupid. Now, i don't like your president, and neither do you I'm pretty sure, but I wouldn't call all Egyptians stupid or any names for that matter since I chose to keep a level of civility.
it is infuriating to see that you pick and choose what is offensive and what is not. We all have our tipping points! Don't we?
Mine is being called stupid since I know I clearly am not!
I happen to believe in peace and a possible co-existence of Jews and Muslims. Call me an idealist dreamer, but it doesn't mean I'm attacking people by stating facts. Fact: Mohammed V did not discriminate between the citizens of his country. Fact: All other leaders in the world did. Fact: Arabs are suffering due to that mere fact.
If we look back at history, co-existence is possible, but if we make the same mistakes over and over, we cannot move on!
And yeah, Iran has supported several movements of extremism. Call it an opinion if you don't think it's true, but from what I have learned, each of us is entitled to their own, right?
